Great Handguards
The customer service is great and the product arrived quickly and as described.
I own a Brownell's Retro M16A1 type rifle. I really like the rifle, but the handguards that come with it are not quite right. Although they are triangular the teeth do not form the distinctive ridge that you see when looking at the profile of the originals.
Before ordering the handguards I called and the gentleman who I spoke with took the time to compare the purchased item to an original set. He took to the time to make sure the dimensions were correct.
The handguards are much stronger than the Brownell's. They are a bit heavier than the set that came with my Brownell's rifle, which is closer to the weight of the originals. They look great on my rifle and give it a more robust feeling more reminiscent of the older ones. I know the older ones are fiberglass and the Brownell's are described as sturdier than the 1960's model handgurards, however they feel very flimsy even compared to the old ones.
These handguards are just the the thing if you have any retro project especially if you bought one of the Brownell's retro series and you are unhappy with the handguards. These new polymer ones are great!

Ordered 3 pairs for my project. I’m impressed with the quality and color. They fit perfect and feel heavy duty, Definitely not a flimsy replica.
If your doing a build where you want the look of an M16 I’d highly recommend these, they are nice !
